This is a reproduction of “The Naked City,” a famous map of “psychogeography” created by Guy Debord and the Situationists in the 1950s. Rather than streets, the map shows energetic crossroads in the city of Paris that were discovered on their dérives.

When I look across the open canvas of the desert from my patio my home is located between the two, at an imaginal crossroads.

I used the previous walking sound map as the overlay for this diagram of the desert surrounding Las Vegas in relation to my home. It indicates the continual ancient Earth energies that emanate from Red Rock Canyon toward my house at the center of the crossroads. The city of Las Vegas is within the energetic field, but its presence evaporates into the desert landscape.
From this perspective, the cliché ” What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” takes on a deeper meaning.
